Two weeks ago, we reported that 19-year old League of Legends player Justin Carter had been in jail after someone reported to the police that he had made a "terrorist threat" on Facebook about shooting up a local school, killing children and eating their "still beating hearts."
Though Carter marked the Facebook message with indicators that it was a joke, Texas law enforcement didn't think it was very funny and charged him with making terrorist threats. A judge set his bail at $500,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
According to MSNBC report, someone donated $500,000 to the family so they could bail Justin out. Justin Carter's attorney has confirmed that Carter is out on bail as of Thursday, July 11. An "anonymous good Samaritan" donated $500,000 to the Carter family so they could make bail for Justin, said defense attorney Don Flanary.
